Hello again redditors! Looking to meet people and find a community? Why not join us at Manchester Sunday Assembly for a non-religious service tomorrow Sunday the 11th.
Sunday Assembly is a secular congregation that meets once a month here in Manchester, and I’m writing to invite you all to attend! Here’s a [short video](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9U-2spgpI7Q) that explains what we we’re about.
It’s totally free – we don’t want your money, just you. This month’s assembly is titled Remembrance and will be talking, about that, both in relation to the 100 year anniversary of the armistice and more generally. And of course, there’ll be poetry, tea, cake and arts and crafts!
Here’s the [facebook event](https://www.facebook.com/events/1975919312700745/) for those of you who use it.
For those that don’t, it’s at 10:45 this Sunday the 11th of November in the Niamos building (former Hulme Hippodrome), Warwick Street, M15 5EU
I play guitar in the band – if you come down please say hi after the show! I’ll be sticking around this thread to answer any questions you might have about us. I know a secular church might sound like a strange concept, but personally it’s become one of the best parts of my life and I’d really recommend it to anyone.
